Quadient needed to expand development capacity and build a trusted outsourcing model.
Quadient is a technology company with a development centre in Hradec Králové whose communication digitalisation solutions are used by 8 of the world’s 10 largest banks. In 2019, the company turned to TALENTIQ due to a critical shortage of skilled developers in the region. Cooperation began with a pilot deployment of two external specialists and gradually evolved into independent teams of developers, testers, and DevOps engineers covering Quadient’s full development needs.
We developed a team leasing model that provides the client with technically strong, stable, and adaptable development capacity.
The challenge
Quadient develops complex solutions for omnichannel bank-to-client communication. Development runs on the client’s own React-based framework, requiring rapid adaptation to specific technologies. At the same time, project needs shifted frequently — sometimes requiring larger teams, at other times smaller ones. The client needed a reliable partner to handle not only recruitment and training but also full operational support.
How we solved it
From an initial test engagement with two developers, the cooperation grew to a model involving up to 15 simultaneously leased specialists. We supplied complete teams of developers, testers, DevOps engineers, and team leaders. Before each deployment, we provided training on Quadient’s internal technologies. As an umbrella supplier, we now manage invoicing, personnel coordination, and regular reporting. The collaboration is long-term, stable, and highly responsive.
We enabled Quadient to build stable and technically competent teams that adapt to both the pace and the specific environment of development. External specialists account for up to a quarter of the total development workforce, and although formally external, they function as a fully integrated part of the internal team. Outsourcing continues to pay off because we can react within days — including the rapid deployment of senior specialists whenever needed.
