We built a scalable B2B portal supporting Europe-wide growth

TASY needed to create a B2B e-commerce portal that could withstand the demands of the Europe-wide market while providing professionals with a fast and reliable purchasing tool.

TASY, a leading Czech tyre distributor, has grown into a market leader over the last ten years and is now heading into Europe. The old e-shop built on Kentico 9 no longer met performance demands. It lacked advanced filtering, branch management, and user personalisation. It was also unprepared for high-volume imports and advanced ERP integrations. The goal was to create a robust B2B platform with advanced functionality that would support smooth growth and serve both small and large partners.


Today, TASY Market handles thousands of users, offers fast and intelligent search, and provides margin management, branch control, and credit limits tailored to each partner.
The challenge
Building a modern B2B portal capable of handling 50,000+ products with high speed, clarity, and seamless integrations with ERP, external warehouses, and dropshipping was challenging for several reasons. The data volume demanded a highly optimised database to avoid overload during imports or searches. Integrations with ERP systems and warehouses required reliable real-time synchronisation and solutions for system discrepancies. Migrating thousands of client accounts and products had to be carried out without downtime or data loss, requiring robust automation tools and thorough testing.
How we solved it
We implemented Kentico 13 MVC with a decoupled frontend, which significantly improved loading speed and enabled better scalability of the portal. We developed custom importers for product synchronisation and integrated ERP systems HOC and ALCAR to keep data consistent and up to date. Migration of thousands of client accounts and products was managed with automated scripts, minimising errors and ensuring a smooth transition. The UX was designed and refined based on feedback from professional users: the catalogue is optimised for keyboard use, filtering narrows results quickly even with tens of thousands of products, and the interface remains clear even under heavy load.


The new TASY Market B2B portal delivered major improvements in performance, clarity, and user experience. Thanks to its modern architecture, the e-shop can now handle thousands of concurrent users, product imports are many times faster, and customers benefit from advanced tools – from rapid filtering and margin management to branch administration, user profiles, and credit limits. Integration with external warehouses and dropshipping expanded the product range and increased orders by 25%. Overall, TASY is now ready for Europe-wide growth and has strengthened its position as a top tyre distributor.
